## About the Role

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Data Security Analyst with 5 - 10 years of experience in Data Security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). The successful candidate will provide strong hands-on expertise across DLP technologies, including Zscaler DLP, Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) / Purview, while supporting data protection, compliance, incident investigation, and stakeholder requirements.

## Description

* Create, configure, and tune DLP policies to support data protection requirements.
 * Monitor and investigate DLP alerts and data security incidents.
 * Analyse potential data loss events and determine appropriate remediation actions.
 * Manage and troubleshoot DLP-related issues across business and user environments.
 * Support data protection compliance activities and audit requirements.
 * Configure and maintain DLP technologies, including Zscaler DLP, Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, and MIP/Purview.
 * Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve data security issues.
 * Respond promptly to business and user requirements during working hours.
 * Identify opportunities to improve DLP controls, processes, and overall data security.
 * Document investigations, policy changes, incidents, and remediation activities as required.
 * Collaborate with relevant technical and business teams to address data security risks and requirements.
