You'll be the hands-on technical point of contact ensuring robots move from installation to reliable production operation, and stay there. This role is based out of Metro Detroit with remote flexibility, and involves regular travel to customer facilities., * Lead on-site deployment and commissioning of AMR fleets, including mapping, localization setup, and network configuration. * Perform fleet troubleshooting, incident analysis, and root-cause resolution across hardware, perception, navigation, and software layers. * Configure and validate robot behaviors, routes, traffic rules, and safety zones to match site requirements. * Monitor fleet health and reliability metrics; drive proactive maintenance and recovery procedures to minimize downtime. * Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, escalating and documenting field issues. * Train customer operators and maintenance staff on daily operation, recovery, and basic troubleshooting. * Support presales and pilot activities: site surveys, feasibility assessments, and requirements gathering. * Contribute to deployment playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base to improve repeatability and scale.
