## About the Role

* 10+ years experience with software engineering.
 * TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
 * Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting.
 * Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
 * Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification., * Master's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
 * 10 years of professional experience with software engineering.
 * Active DoD SECRET security clearance (or interim) required and must be maintained.
 * Required work location: NSWCCR / Contractor Facility.

## Description

The Software Engineer III supports the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) on the MXM EMSO effort, executing assigned Technical Instructions under Government technical direction in support of the RDT&E, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in the SOW/PWS. The position requires 10 years of professional experience with software engineering. The Software Engineer III performs assigned work in accordance with Team quality, configuration-management, and security requirements.
