In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience. * Experience managing technologists. * Strong proficiency in Java or Python, with working knowledge of SQL and React.js, and a solid understanding of software development best practices. * Extensive hands-on experience with RDBMS, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning. * Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform and AWS Glue, AWS Athena, and AWS S3. * Demonstrated experience working with an AI technology stack (e.g., model development/integration, MLOps, data pipelines, and AI platform services). * Proven experience leading technology projects end-to-end, from planning through delivery and production readiness. * Experience leading responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools across engineering teams, including defining ways of working (review/validation expectations), measuring outcomes, and ensuring secure handling of data. * Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, resiliency/security implications, and governance expectations; ability to coach engineers on compliant and effective usage. * Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. * In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
