## About the Role

* Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, computer email , and in person.
 * Ability to bend, stoop, push and pull in order to install computer equipment.
 * Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
 * Ability to use hand tools in order to install computer equipment
 * Ability to use a company provided desktop or laptop computer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Skills, Knowledge/Education, Experience, Competencies):

 * Associates Degree in Information Systems or equivalent course of study or major.
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft Network. Microsoft Office and Workstation Operating Systems.
 * Technical Certifications are preferred in programs such as A+, MCSE, MCP, Cisco.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * Team-oriented and highly developed interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial approach.
 * Self-Starter works well with minimal supervision and under pressure.
 * Demonstrates ingenuity and resourcefulness in all job tasks., * Are you willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen?

## Description

Reports to the Information Technology Director. Handles issues received from internal and external customers both remotely and onsite. Installs, troubleshoots and supports customers' server and/or PC hardware and software., 1. Responds promptly to internal and external user problems and keeps user up-to-date on the status of the situation.

 2. Remediates tickets from Autotask queue based on severity and priority. Documents and updates all software licensing, credentials, configurations, procedures, disaster recovery programs, etc. in regards to any work performed. This will ensure the quality and speed of service delivery to the customer.

 3. Responsible for maintaining PC replacement schedule to include researching and recommending products for approval and purchasing PCs.

 4. Installs, trouble-shoots, and supports customers' server and/or PC hardware and software.

 5. Serves as backup in maintaining Eautomate servers to include loading new releases when required and ensuring reliable backup for these servers. Assists in maintaining the security of all servers.

 6. Serves as backup in maintaining the internal network systems including, but not limited to:

Servers Derby City Macs, Pace Support

Web and FTP Servers Internal Digital connected products

Firewall and Switches Internal ERP

LAN/WAN Connectivity Backups Phone Systems

 7. Monitors for the success of customer facing backup and disaster recovery operations. Attempts to remediates issues when occurring.

 8. Assists in overseeing the security, antivirus and patch management of all systems through Kaseya management software.

 9. Assists in resolving all issues pertaining to the networks of branch offices as requested by the Network Administrator.

 10. Provides in-house instruction to users on computer equipment and software.

 11. Installs and moves network and telephone cable connections and drops.

 12. Learns the company's current telecommunication provider and builds good rapport with their staff, in order to assist with the overall system support.

 13. Remains current on state-of-the-art technologies to guide company buying decisions related to computer hardware, software, training, internet connectivity, etc.
