## About the Role

* 3+ years of experience with data lake or analytics platforms
 * 1+ years of experience designing data pipeline architectures for security operations, including log collection, normalization, enrichment and routing
 * 1+ years of experience with defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering or security platform architecture
 * Experience architecting detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows or automated response capabilities
 * Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises and disconnected environments
 * Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, DoD and IC Cybersecurity frameworks or federal compliance standards
 * TS/SCI clearance
 * HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with Windows or Linux administration activities
 * Experience with stream processing or data brokering platforms such as Cribl, Kafka, Logstash or Fluentd
 * Experience with threat detection or anomaly-based behavioral analysis
 * Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines in IL5, IL6 or IL7 environments
 * Experience with Python or scripting languages for security automation

As a data engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You'll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.

Here, you'll work with and guide a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. You'll use your experience in analytical exploration and data examination while you manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients.
