## About the Role

* Studying towards a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent;
 * Positive and proactive attitude towards work;
 * Good problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude and not afraid to propose new ideas;
 * Programming and optimisation skills would be beneficial;
 * Languages and experience of a wide range of cultures is beneficial;
 * You are someone who collaborates well within a team.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

## Description

As a student engineer you will develop the digital solutions needed across a wide range of more traditional disciplines within the wing business. During this placement, the activities you may undertake will include:

 * Develop your learning journey towards Configuration management and Digital Mock up and processes;
 * Applying Python, Java, GScript, C++ based Automation in order to improve design and stress processes;
 * Influence Digital Transformation within the wing and airframe organisations;
 * Perform Data Analytics on Skywise, Google Studio and internal platforms developed by Airbus;
 * Develop machine learning algorithms on various platforms;
 * Use of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) techniques;
 * Support the move from Server Based Microsoft Applications to Cloud Based Google Applications.
