We'd like to see websites you've designed or helped build, with a clear explanation of your contribution. You should understand spacing, typography, image selection and how layouts adapt for mobile. You'll need a working knowledge of HTML and CSS and confidence using AI tools to develop and improve your work. Practical knowledge of on-page SEO is important, along with an understanding of AEO: structuring useful content for AI-powered search. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Search Console would also be useful. You don't need to be a software developer. You do need to make practical changes, check the results and spot when something needs more work. Good written English matters too, including improving headings, editing awkward copy and recognising missing information. ## Description You'll take information from customer questionnaires, existing websites and conversations with our team, and turn it into websites that reflect their businesses and encourage enquiries. We use AI tools to develop concepts. You'll guide that process, refine the design and content, then build the finished pages inside Specifi. That currently includes manually transferring designs into our website builder, so you should embrace assembling, checking and finishing pages as well as designing them. What you'll do * Develop website concepts from customer briefs and reference sites. * Refine layouts, typography, colours and imagery. * Organise content into clear, useful pages. * Apply SEO and AEO principles to page structure, headings, metadata and content. * Edit HTML and CSS to adjust designs and fix straightforward layout issues. * Build pages inside Specifi and work through customer feedback. * Check mobile layouts, links, forms, images, copy and tracking before launch. * Launch websites and handle the technical setup needed to take them live., You'll work alongside our marketing and creative team in Bangor. It's a relaxed office, there are dogs in the office, and you'll have access to people who know our customers and industry. Shortlisted candidates will receive a design pack and use an AI tool of their choice to create a single-page HTML website. The exercise should take around 60-90 minutes. We'll assess your interpretation of the brief, design choices, attention to detail, mobile layout and approach to SEO and AEO. You'll then talk us through what the AI produced and what you changed.
