## About the Role

* WO-niveau in data science, wiskunde, econometrie, computer science of vergelijkbaar
 * Minimaal 4 jaar ervaring met machine learning in productie-omgevingen
 * Sterke Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, PySpark, MLflow)
 * Ervaring met Databricks, Azure of vergelijkbare cloudplatforms
 * Kennis van MLOps en modelbeheer (CI/CD, monitoring, reproducibility)
 * Interesse in verzekeren, risicomodellering of financiële domeinen
 * Zelfstartend, nieuwsgierig en gericht op leveren wat werkt

## Description

In deze rol bouw je mee aan een moderne AI- en dataomgeving met Databricks als kern. De focus ligt op het écht realiseren van waarde: modellen die draaien, leren en aantoonbaar betere beslissingen ondersteunen.
Wat je gaat doen

 * Ontwikkelen, trainen en implementeren van machine learning-modellen in Databricks (Python, MLflow, SQL)
 * Doorontwikkelen van MLOps met o.a. Deeploy en geautomatiseerde CI/CD-pipelines
 * Samenwerken met business experts (o.a. schade, acceptatie, finance) en hun vraag vertalen naar datagedreven oplossingen
 * Experimenteren met generatieve en agentic AI toepassingen zodra de databasis daarvoor gereed is
 * Meedenken over datastructuur, modelontwikkeling en -beheer, documentatie en uitlegbaarheid (AI governance)
 * Coachen van medior data scientists op codekwaliteit, modellering en deployment
