## About the Role

* Proven experience in 2nd Line IT Support (manufacturing or fast-paced environments a bonus).
 * Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows 10/11, Server, O365, AD).
 * Networking know-how - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
 * Excellent communication skills - able to support colleagues at all levels.
 * Full UK driving licence (occasional travel may be required).

## Description

Do you enjoy solving complex IT challenges and want to be part of a business where technology truly underpins operations? We're looking for a 2nd Line IT Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting both office and production environments.

This role is hands-on, varied, and gives you the chance to work across infrastructure, applications, and networks - no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

 * Escalation point for 1st Line issues, ensuring problems are resolved quickly and effectively.
 * Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and end-user devices.
 * Troubleshooting networking technologies (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs).
 * Maintaining and optimising critical systems that keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
 * Assisting with IT projects - including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and system rollouts.
 * Producing clear documentation for systems, assets, and incidents.
