## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study.
 * 3+ years of professional experience
 * Experience interfacing and presenting to the customer
 * Expertise in Network Software Engineering or Network Protocols
o IETF RFCs and associated networking specifications
o Layer 2/3/4 protocol-level analysis and development
o In-depth understanding of IPv4 & IPv6
o IPsec, cryptographic primitives & mechanisms
o Internet and Routing protocols

 * Experience designing data modeling schema (for example YANG models and RESTCONF)
 * U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance., * 2+ years of programming experience in Python
 * Low-level Linux TCP/UDP/TLS/raw socket programming & analysis
 * Experience with Gitlab or CI/CD pipelines
 * Expertise in Linux Systems and Virtual Machines

## Description

* Design and architecture of the specification and documentation for Interoperability of the NSA High Assurance IP Encryptor (HAIPE) family of secure IP networking devices
 * Participate in design meetings, architecture reviews, and working group meetings
 * Research and integration of current industry standard protocols and practices
 * Create documentation as required
