## About the Role

We're seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in platform operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering. You'll play a key role in delivering resilient, scalable, and secure solutions that power services for some of the world's most vital organisations., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.

 * 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps or similar roles (or 3+ years plus 2+ years in customer support).
 * Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
 * Experience with containerisation, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
 * Solid understanding of cloud platforms and security principles.
 * Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
 * Comfortable with overnight and weekend work (scheduled rotational basis).
 * Experience in ISO-certified environments is a plus.

## Description

Infrastructure & Automation:

 * Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions using automation and infrastructure-as-code.
 * Continuously improve platform reliability and streamline operational workflows through automation and tooling.

Security & Observability:

 * Develop and maintain proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
 * Contribute to both offensive and defensive security strategies, including threat simulations and incident playbooks.

Operational Excellence:

 * Provide 3rd line support for complex infrastructure issues, working alongside 1st and 2nd line teams to ensure fast and effective resolutions.
 * Coordinate seamless, zero-downtime deployments in collaboration with Development teams.

Innovation & Collaboration:

 * Stay on the cutting edge of infrastructure technologies and best practices.
 * Participate in regular research, proof-of-concept and implementation projects to evolve the platform.
 * Champion a culture of collaboration, agility and continuous improvement.
