## About the Role

* Proven experience as a Profiler / Profiling Machine Operator within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment
 * Confident reading and working from technical/engineering drawings
 * Strong understanding of steel grades, plate thicknesses and cutting tolerances
 * Ability to operate CNC profiling equipment (plasma/oxy) - programming experience advantageous
 * High attention to detail and accuracy
 * Good awareness of health & safety in a workshop/production environment
 * Reliable, punctual and comfortable working weekend night shifts

## Description

* Operate profiling machinery (e.g. plasma/Oxy-fuel) to cut steel plate to specification
 * Interpret engineering drawings, cutting lists and work instructions
 * Set up, calibrate and adjust machines to achieve accurate cuts and high-quality finishes
 * Carry out basic maintenance and pre-use checks on machinery
 * Monitor production quality and make adjustments to optimise output and minimise waste
 * Work closely with production, welding and fabrication teams to meet schedules
 * Complete all relevant paperwork and data entry as required
 * Adhere to all health & safety, quality and housekeeping standards
