## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
 * 3-5 years of professional software development experience, including experience with business-critical applications.
 * Experience with ERP, order management, inventory management or other transactional business systems.
 * Strong SQL and relational database design skills; MySQL experience preferred.
 * Strong backend software development experience using C#/.NET, Java, Python or a comparable modern programming language, with working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
 * Experience with APIs, system integrations and data exchange between applications.
 * Experience across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through deployment and support.
 * Strong understanding of software and database architecture.
 * Proficiency with Git.
 * Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non-technical users., * Experience with MES or other manufacturing systems.
 * Experience with data migration from legacy systems.
 * Manufacturing or industrial experience.
 * Experience as a lead or principal developer for a business-critical internal application.
 * Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex or similar., * Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?

## Description

Stainless Structurals is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help design and build a new ERP platform while supporting and enhancing our existing in-house manufacturing system., * Lead discovery and requirements gathering with business users, including understanding current workflows, identifying pain points and translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

 * Design and develop ERP functionality for quoting, orders, inventory, purchasing, shipping, invoicing, AR/AP and related workflows.
 * Maintain and enhance our existing MES/manufacturing application supporting work orders, production planning, quality and material traceability.
 * Migrate business data and functionality from existing systems into the new platform.
 * Design and maintain database schemas, APIs and integrations between ERP, MES, reporting tools and other systems.
 * Test, deploy and support business-critical applications in production.
