You like solving technical problems, experimenting with new technology and seeing the software you develop come to life in a physical product. * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. * 2+ years of experience in software, firmware or embedded software development. * Experience developing software in C++ for microcontrollers. * An interest in electronics and the interaction between hardware and software. * Hands-on experience with testing, debugging and technical problem-solving. * The ability to understand technical systems beyond your own software component. * A pragmatic and curious mindset and the willingness to learn new technologies. * Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage ## Description As Software / Firmware Engineer, you will initially become part of our Product Innovation Team, where you will work on the further development of new MYLAPS products that are moving from innovation towards market introduction. You will develop and improve the software and firmware that connects our electronics, microcontrollers and product functionality. This means working close to the hardware, understanding how the complete system behaves and solving technical challenges. As the product matures, your role will broaden. Over time, you will also contribute to existing MYLAPS products together with our Project Engineering team, giving you the opportunity to work across both new product development and established products used by customers around the world.
