The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware, along with the ability to implement, manage, and troubleshoot a variety of network devices, including wireless access points (WAPs), firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. Strong expertise in application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly preferred!, * 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. * Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. * Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions. * Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers. * Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. * Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. * Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. * Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. * Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization. * Network security experience. * LAN and WAN experience. * Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI.
