## About the Role

* 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in an AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science role.
 * Cloud platform experience: Azure or another cloud-based solution.
 * Strong Python skills.
 * A working understanding of SQL.
 * Hands-on experience across the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from development to production deployment, including designing and building scalable ML pipelines.
 * Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
 * Experience with MLOps tooling.
 * Experience using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot or comparable) in real development workflows.

Nice-to-Have

 * Some background in NLP.
 * Some background in Computer Vision.
 * Big Data tools and cloud platforms, especially Azure.
 * RESTful API development and DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD).
 * Recommendation systems, unsupervised learning, and ranking models.
 * TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow Serving, gRPC, and unit testing.
 * Strong object-oriented programming skills.

## Description

It's a six-month contract with potential for renewal. The engagement is fully remote, and the successful candidate can be located anywhere in Latin America. You'll need strong English communication skills (B2+ or higher) for this role.
Responsibilities:

 * Participate in designing and developing AI solutions for challenging projects.
 * Build production-level ML/AI solutions grounded in solid software engineering and ML/AI principles.
 * Handle MLOps: automated deployment and monitoring of both models and infrastructure.
 * Carry out data analysis, including data cleaning and variable transformation.
 * Develop and train ML/AI models.
 * Put AI models into production: parallelize, optimize, tune, and test them for deployment in a production environment., * Completed background checks will be required before the start date if you are selected as a winning candidate.
 * As a winning candidate, you will be required to disclose your engagement with DevEngine as a primary client on your professional LinkedIn profile.
