Ideally you've been a WMS superuser, key user, or systems lead in a 3PL, distribution centre, or wholesale operation. * Real familiarity with a warehouse management system. Which one matters less than how deeply you used it. * The ability to explain a technical thing to a non technical person without patronising them. You'll do this ten times a day. * Calm under pressure. Warehouses have bad mornings, and you'll be talking to people in the middle of them. * Comfortable writing clearly. A good written answer resolves a chat in one message instead of five. * Willing to use AI tooling properly as part of your daily work, not as a novelty. * No SaaS or software support background required. If you know warehousing and you're sharp, we'll teach you the rest. * Most importantly: someone curious enough to keep asking why, honest enough to say when they don't know, and interested in building something rather than just holding a queue together., * Warehouse management: 1 year (preferred) * Warehouse management system: 1 year (preferred) ## Description * Live chat and inbound support You'll own the front line. Customers come to you through live chat and tickets, and your job is to get them a fast, accurate answer or get it to the right person without dropping the thread. You'll work the queue with judgement, knowing which issues need to jump and which customers are about to have a much bigger problem than the one they've reported. * Solving real warehouse problems Most issues that reach you are operational, not technical. Someone's stock doesn't match, a putaway rule is behaving oddly, a label isn't printing an hour before a collection. You'll use what you know about how warehouses actually run to work out what's really happening, then fix it or explain it in language the person on the other end understands. * Building the knowledge library Every question you couldn't answer easily is a gap. You'll flag it, write it up, and use our AI tooling to turn it into an article that saves the next person the same twenty minutes. Over time you'll be one of the main reasons the library is any good. * Growing into solutions work As you build product depth, you'll take on configuration queries, support implementations, and get involved in the more complex customer problems. This isn't a promise for later, it's a normal part of the role once you're steady on the front line. ## Related Videos - [Outsmarting the System: What Game Cheaters Can Teach Us About Cyber Security](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1396-outsmarting-the-system-what-game-cheaters-can-teach-us-about-cyber-security) - [The Data Mesh as the end of the Datalake as we know it](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/156-the-data-mesh-as-the-end-of-the-datalake-as-we-know-it) - [Remote Driving on Plant Grounds with State-of-the-Art Cloud Technologies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/251-remote-driving-on-plant-grounds-with-state-of-the-art-cloud-technologies) - [Beyond the Hype: Building Trustworthy and Reliable LLM Applications with Guardrails](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1594-beyond-the-hype-building-trustworthy-and-reliable-llm-applications-with-guardrails) - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) - [Implementing an Event Sourcing strategy on Azure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/688-implementing-an-event-sourcing-strategy-on-azure) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [How to Answer the Interview Question: “Why Do You Want to Be a Software Engineer?”](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/392-how-to-answer-the-interview-question-why-do-you-want-to-be-a-software-engineer) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Remote Work: Best Practices for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/315-remote-work-best-practices-for-developers) - [How to Answer the “Why Should We Hire You” Interview Question](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/321-how-to-answer-the-why-should-we-hire-you-interview-question)
