Alongside that, we're particularly interested in someone who is: * confident using HR systems and quick to learn new technology; * genuinely comfortable working with data; * good Excel skills and confidence working with data, including manipulating and presenting information. Experience of PivotTables, lookups and similar functionality would be advantageous.; * highly organised and accurate; * curious and willing to question whether there is a better way of doing something; * able to work independently and take ownership; * comfortable juggling routine administration with projects and improvement work; and * discreet and professional when dealing with confidential employee information. Experience implementing or developing an HR system, producing people dashboards or using tools such as Power BI would be a real advantage, but isn't essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can combine really good HR administration with a systems and data mindset., * HR or Analytics : 3 years (required) ## Description We're looking for an experienced HR Administrator who loves systems, data and finding better ways of doing things. This is still very much a hands-on HR role. You'll be supporting the full employee lifecycle - contracts, onboarding, recruitment, employee changes, payroll information, absence, benefits and all the administration that keeps a busy HR function running properly. But we're not looking for a traditional HR Administrator. We want someone who is naturally drawn to the systems and data side of HR: the person who enjoys getting an HR system working properly, can make sense of a spreadsheet, spots when data doesn't look right and thinks "there must be a better way of doing this" when faced with a manual process. As our HR function continues to develop, you'll work closely with the Head of HR to implement and improve HR systems, automate processes, improve data quality and develop the people reporting and management information we use across the business. You don't need to already be an HR Systems Analyst. What matters is that you have a strong HR administration foundation and the aptitude, confidence and interest to develop further in HR systems and people data. What you'll be doing * Managing day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle. * Preparing contracts, offer letters and employee correspondence. * Coordinating onboarding, employee changes and leaver processes. * Supporting recruitment, payroll, benefits, absence and other HR processes. * Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system data. * Becoming a key user of our HR systems and helping colleagues get the most from them. * Supporting the implementation and rollout of new HR systems and functionality. * Helping to build better workflows and automate manual HR processes. * Producing regular people metrics and management information. * Working with data to identify trends in areas such as headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment, training and engagement. * Developing dashboards, reports and trackers that give managers useful information rather than data for data's sake. * Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement activity. ## Related Videos - [What if your HR software adapted to you, not the other way around?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100259-what-if-your-hr-software-adapted-to-you-not-the-other-way-around) - [Launching a marketplace on-time: A lesson in taking shortcuts using spreadsheets!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/477-launching-a-marketplace-on-time-a-lesson-in-taking-shortcuts-using-spreadsheets) - [Beyond Dashboards: Fixing Text-to-SQL with Semantic RAG](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2036-beyond-dashboards-fixing-text-to-sql-with-semantic-rag) - [Beyond Gut Feelings: The Rise of Data-Driven HR](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1326-beyond-gut-feelings-the-rise-of-data-driven-hr) - [Get Your Stack Together: Building the Right Recruiting Tech](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1295-get-your-stack-together-building-the-right-recruiting-tech) - [HR Tech: An Essential Ingredient for Tech-Driven Business Transformation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1482-hr-tech-an-essential-ingredient-for-tech-driven-business-transformation) ## Related Articles - [Data Analyst Salary in the UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/278-data-analyst-salary-in-the-uk) - [Top HR Tech Conferences in 2024](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/303-top-hr-tech-conferences-in-2024) - [Data Engineer Salary UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/253-data-engineer-salary-uk) - [Best Companies to work for in London: Top 25 Companies in 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/187-best-companies-to-work-for-in-london-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [Frontend Developer Salary in The UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/233-frontend-developer-salary-in-the-uk) - [Data Analyst Salary Austria](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/275-data-analyst-salary-austria)
