## About the Role

As a result of continued growth, we now require a Design Engineer who has experience of working with stainless steel / sheet metal products within a machinery and manufacturing environment., * Inventor 3D experience required (SolidWorks experience will be considered)

 * AutoCAD 2D experience preferred
 * Vault or PDM experience
 * Experience of working within a machinery and manufacturing environment
 * Ability to produce manufacturing drawings and layouts for sheet metal products
 * Knowledge of drawing and design standards
 * IT skills - Including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
 * Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of Design Engineering, * AutoCAD: 5 years (preferred)

## Description

* To carry out design functions using Inventor software
 * Production of GA drawings
 * Production of manufacturing drawings and BOMs
 * Ensure all designs comply with the required contract specifications
 * Liaise with suppliers and customers as directed for the purposes of design development and approval
 * Contribute to the ongoing improvement of designs
