* Bachelor's degree, or Associates degree with 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree
 * Minimum 1 year professional experience working with agency utilized applications or solutions.
 * Minimum 1 year professional experience with content development or application solution development.
 * Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
 * Ability to work in a team environment
 * Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences., * Advanced degree.
 * Minimum 2 years professional experience working with agency utilized applications or solutions.
 * Minimum 2 years professional experience with content development or application solution development.
 * Minimum 2 years of experience in managing projects, assignments and competing priorities.
 * MOUS, ACE, MCT or other relevant industry certifications., As part of the hiring process, applicants for positions at LSU New Orleans may be required to demonstrate the ability to perform job-related tasks.

## Description

* Designs and maintains various agency utilized applications/solutions using the available resources.
 * Analyzes functional requirements and translate them into best fit solutions.
 * Completes projects and frequently transitions between projects and application support.
 * Provides technical support to Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) staff involving agency utilized applications by diagnosing technical problems and identifying appropriate solutions through research.
 * Triages, prioritizes, and fulfills maintenance and support requests submitted through the ticket system.
 * Researches and implements agency utilized applications best practices
 * Develops, produces, distributes, and updates training materials in the form of guides, videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc. to LDH employees and internal Application Support & Training staff.
 * Provides training of agency utilized applications to staff as necessary.
 * Helps train new unit employees.
 * Works with the Coordinator 3 and Unit Supervisor to develop and implement testing plans for new software development.
 * Takes lead in SharePoint site creation, maintenance, and custom development for all LDH users.
 * Other tasks as directed.
