## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
 * 5+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally within the medical device industry
 * Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with complex electromechanical systems
 * Experience with requirements management tools such as Helix or Jama
 * Solid understanding of system verification and validation
 * Familiarity with regulatory standards such as 60601-1, 60601-2, and 60601-1-6 preferred
 * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
 * Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline and analytical problem-solving abilities

## Description

* Support system development, integration, verification, and sustaining engineering activities for complex electromechanical devices
 * Write and maintain system requirements and documentation using tools such as Helix or Jama
 * Design and build test fixtures for board and subsystem validation
 * Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot hardware/software/firmware interactions
 * Develop system test protocols, test plans, and reports supporting verification and validation
 * Manage engineering change orders and lifecycle updates through digital platforms
 * Support risk management activities, including hazard analysis and FMEA updates
 * Collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, quality, and regulatory teams to resolve system-level issues
