This role is heavily focused on the database/server-side and data layers., * 5+ years of strong SQL Development experience. * Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. * Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries. * Advanced experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning. * Strong knowledge of execution plans, indexing strategies, joins, subqueries, CTEs, temporary tables, and window functions. * Strong experience developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers. * Experience working with large volumes of data and complex relational databases. * Strong understanding of data flow and data lineage. * Experience with data transformation, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality. * Strong database design and data modeling knowledge. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Financial Services Experience * Strong experience working in the Financial Services / Investment Management industry. * Understanding of financial data, investment products, securities, portfolios, transactions, and financial reporting. * Experience working with investment-management or asset-management data is highly preferred. * Understanding of financial data processing, reconciliation, and validation. * Ability to translate financial business requirements into efficient SQL and data solutions. Preferred Skills * Experience with ETL/data integration technologies. * Experience with SSIS or similar data-integration tools. * Experience with SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Agent. * Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. * Experience with Azure/AWS data services is a plus. * Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus. * Experience working in Agile development environments. * Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar development/project management tools.
