Other Qualifications * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Strong organization and time management skills. * Ability to follow work instructions and suggest improvements. * Must be comfortable with occasional repetitive tasks and batch work., * Mechanical assembly: 1 year (Required) * Lean manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred) * ESD handling: 1 year (Required) ## Description This role is ideal for a self-directed technician who enjoys high autonomy. While you will have active support from our planning and engineering departments, you will be the go-to expert on the floor, responsible for independent problem-solving and execution Hardware Assembly & Setup * Inspect incoming computer components and verify part numbers, quantities, and compatibility. * Assemble desktop, industrial, and embedded computer systems, including installation of CPUs, RAM, SSDs, cards, and heatsinks. * Perform clean cable routing and apply internal labels, barcodes, and customer-specific tags. * Follow proper ESD safety procedures throughout all handling and assembly work. * Conduct visual inspections and functional tests to ensure quality and readiness of builds. * Perform additional duties as assigned to support production requirements and company goals System Imaging & Configuration * Clone operating system images to SSDs using tools like Clonezilla in a Linux-based environment. * Install and configure hardware drivers for chipsets, networking, and storage devices. * Set up and verify system BIOS/UEFI settings according to build requirements. * Maintain and organize bootable USB drives used for imaging, recovery, and firmware updates. Testing & Troubleshooting * Perform basic system diagnostics during initial power-up and final inspection (e.g., no-POST, failed boots). * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in returned (RMA) systems. * Use recovery tools and BIOS flashing techniques to restore non-functioning units. * Reimage and retest repaired systems before returning them to inventory. Documentation & Inventory Tracking * Record component serial numbers and configuration data using standardized Excel templates. * Upload build records, labels, and certificates to the ERP system (Cetec). * Help refine work instructions with clear steps and reference photos.
