Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to lead a high-visibility data modernization initiative focused on rebuilding ETL processes, standardizing reporting, and documenting critical business systems. Core Responsibilities

As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for driving two business-critical initiatives and ensuring a successful transition away from legacy systems.

Key Functional Tasks

 * Current-State ETL Analysis & Documentation

 * Assess and document existing ETL processes and data flows
 * Identify process conflicts, redundancies, and dependencies
 * Work with subject matter experts to understand legacy architecture
 * Create detailed technical documentation to support future-state planning

ETL Architecture, Design & Rebuild

 * Design and architect a new ETL framework to replace legacy processes
 * Establish scalable, secure, and maintainable data pipelines
 * Develop implementation plans and technical specifications
 * Build and deploy the new ETL environment

Power BI Reporting Standardization

 * Evaluate existing reports and dashboards
 * Establish a standardized reporting framework and base report library
 * Develop and refine DAX calculations
 * Implement row-level security and scalable reporting access
