## About the Role

Required

 * 4 plus years of experience with enterprise networking technologies, including:
 * Layer 2 protocols (ARP, 802.1Q, Spanning Tree)
 * Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF)
 * Layer 4-7 technologies (TCP, load balancers, firewalls, DNS)
 * 3-5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience, including exposure to enterprise-class systems integration engagements
 * Experience supporting project delivery workstreams and coordinating with client stakeholders
 * Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
 * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred

 * Network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
 * Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment
 * Exposure to spine-leaf data center architectures and network overlays (e.g., VXLAN)
 * Familiarity with network security devices (next-generation firewalls, IPS) and their role in network segmentation
 * Understanding of connecting enterprise networks to public cloud environments via leased lines or VPN
 * Knowledge of core infrastructure protocols (DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SSL/TLS, NTP, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP, Microsoft AD)
 * Experience with network traffic analysis and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, iperf)
 * Exposure to automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Git)
 * Basic familiarity with APIs and structured data/config models (YANG, JSON)
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to support client workshops and documentation
