## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
 * 2+ years of Python development experience.
 * Experience with:
 + Object-oriented programming
 + Data structures and algorithms
 + Multithreading concepts
 + Software design and development
 * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.
 * Comfortable working onsite 4 days per week.

Preferred

 * PyTest, Slash, or other automated testing frameworks.
 * Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline experience.
 * Linux and Windows command-line scripting.
 * Batch, shell scripting, or automation engineering experience.
 * Groovy, Java, or C++ development experience.
 * GitHub source control experience.
 * Jira and TestRail experience.
 * Embedded Linux or QNX experience.
 * Django or web application development.
 * Squish or automated GUI testing tools.
 * SQL/database experience.

## Description

* Develop and maintain Python-based software tools supporting automated testing efforts.
 * Create and maintain test libraries interfacing with ECUs, test management systems, and defect tracking platforms.
 * Develop automation scripts that convert manual test cases into automated tests.
 * Maintain automation configurations, execution pipelines, and test infrastructure.
 * Partner with software development and manual testing teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues through root cause analysis.
 * Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
 * Contribute to Agile Scrum ceremonies and sprint deliverables.
