## About the Role

* 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including 3+ years focused on test automation
 * Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
 * Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI
 * Experience with SQL and relational databases
 * Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments
 * Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

 * Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android)
 * Experience with BDD frameworks, performance testing, Docker, Kubernetes, or NoSQL databases

## Description

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to help drive software quality and test automation across modern cloud-based applications. In this role, you'll design and maintain automated testing frameworks, validate web, API, and backend applications, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure reliable, high-quality software releases., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress

 * Create and execute test plans for web, API, and backend applications
 * Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
 * Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
 * Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
 * Partner with developers and product teams to improve quality throughout the software development lifecycle
 * Mentor junior QA team members and promote testing best practices
