Job Related Experience: Any work experience that involves the technical planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of Internet, intranet, and extranet activities, including systems/applications development and technical management of Web sites. Includes experience in determining overall technical design and structure of internet services; monitoring functionality, security, and integrity of Internet services, and troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with the design and delivery of Internet services. AND/OR Any work experience that involves the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing application software. Includes experience in analyzing and refining systems requirements; planning and designing systems architecture; determining output media/formats; designing user interfaces; working with customers to test applications; integrating hardware and software components., Position may be filled at the C-06, C-6A, C-07 or at the full performance level C-7A. Incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher or full performance level in accordance with regulatory requirements, upon completion of required training, and recommendation of supervisor. * Must be a citizen of a NATO member state and must be able to establish residency with permission to work in Germany before or within the probationary period. As proof a current German residence permit must be presented. The failure to present a working permit will lead to the termination of employment during the probationary period or any time thereafter, when there is doubt that a working permit may be granted by the German authorities. * Must present either a valid Police Good Conduct Certificate from the local resident registration office or a valid NATO and/or National Security clearance on initial appointment or reappointment after a break in service of a period longer than 6 months.
