## About the Role

Most roles of this type require the following:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
 * Proven experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with working knowledge of frontend build tools and package management
 * Experience working with APIs and understanding of microservices architecture
 * Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows
 * Understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design principles
 * Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively within agile teams
 * Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-have experience could include:

 * Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries, or Google Mobile Web Specialist certification
 * Experience with Azure, AWS or cloud-based deployment platforms
 * Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
 * Experience with performance monitoring, accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility
 * Familiarity with testing frameworks and test-driven development practices

## Description

* Developing and maintaining responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
 * Building reusable components and implementing UI/UX designs from concept through to deployment
 * Working with APIs and microservices to integrate frontend applications with backend systems
