## About the Role

* At least 15 years of experience in similar position
 * Track record of successful design of ASIC and SoC
 * Good technical knowledge in DSP/HW/RF/ASIC design
 * Strong expertise in chip architecture and dimensioning, RF/HW/SW partitioning, tradeoff management, low power design
 * Strong experience in working with various teams, including cross cultural and offshore teams
 * Efficiency, commitment, leadership and charisma, customer driven, autonomy and ability to interact at all levels within the company
 * Experience in wireless systems, ideally in 4G/5G
 * Excellent written and oral communications skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 * Engineering degree in a relevant discipline. BSc, MSc or equivalent
 * Simulation tools such as VSS, SystemVue, MatLab
 * 4G/5G 3GPP Standards and requirements, * Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience., Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

## Description

* You will oversee the modem architecture, providing specifications, analysis and main design choices, thanks to interaction with the teams of algorithm development, HW design, DSP/embedded SW design and platform integration.
 * You should contribute to the definition and application of a mature process to guarantee the delivery of solutions as per global Qualcomm quality policy throughout the various teams.
 * You will be responsible for ensuring that the technical definition of the modem will meet the product definition as set by strategy and marketing teams.
