This role will also work within a wider matrix to enable workstream leads to connect across Kent Surrey and Sussex, the South East and nationally to reduce variation and duplication as well as learn from other areas as and where required. The Training Hub Locality Workforce Development Lead will cover workstreams covering Surrey and Sussex and/or at a level depending on the needs of the Training Hub. The role is key in working with colleagues to shape, codesign and support the implementation of local strategies for the development of the primary care workforce, identifying and realising opportunities to achieve key outcomes in line with national policy. They will make use of workforce and project data available to understand the needs of the workforce now and in the future to embed recruitment, development and retention strategies that relates to the respective integrated care system (ICS) and Training Hub population health needs. Main duties of the job The post-holder will work closely with a range of local stakeholders to support developing the Training Hub agenda within their governance arrangements, enabling existing, and new, workstreams as required by the Surrey & Sussex PCTH programme and activities specific to individual workforce roles.
