## About the Role

* Experience in an IT support or IT administration role, including Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
 * Good understanding of IT infrastructure, user account administration, endpoint support and IT security requirements
 * Excellent communication and customer service skills
 * Very good written and spoken English; German language skills would be an advantage but are not essential
 * Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users and deliver user guidance and training
 * Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and solve problems effectively
 * Flexibility, reliability and a strong service-oriented approach

* First-line IT support and liaison with the central IT Service Desk
 * Maintenance, support and monitoring of the local IT infrastructure
 * Ensuring IT security, backups and user access permissions
 * Administration of user accounts and Microsoft 365
 * Providing staff support with hardware and software issues
 * Technical support for teaching and event spaces
 * Administration of the Microsoft Teams telephony system
 * Procurement, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software
 * Management of external IT service providers
 * IT budget and asset management
 * Administration of the library RFID system
