Operating within a UKAS-accredited ISO 17025 Quality Management System (QMS), the team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance. This role will play a key part in supporting and developing quality management and health & safety systems across the Furniture and Floor Coverings divisions., Following a period of training, responsibilities will include: * Maintaining and improving quality-related records and documentation, including calibration certificates, equipment maintenance records, certificates of conformity, standard reference materials, gap analyses, software validations and spreadsheet validations. * Conducting calibrations, drift analyses, risk assessments, witnessed assessments, and measurement uncertainty calculations within agreed timescales. * Managing internal check testing and participation in industry trials. * Supporting Business Area Managers with annual UKAS audits, including auditor coordination and the collection of evidence relating to improvement actions. * Coordinating ISO 17025 scope extension activities where required. * Assisting in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures. * Working closely with Health, Safety and Environmental colleagues to ensure compliance with legal and organisational health and safety requirements. * Maintaining personal training and competency records. * Purchasing and verifying standard reference materials. * Completing COSHH documentation when required.
