Core Experience * 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles * 1+ years of experience with automation testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, REST Assured) * Experience with databases and SQL for test data management and result verification * Understanding of Agile methodology and active participation in Agile ceremonies * Experience using defect management tools such as Jira Desirable Skills * A degree in computing, mathematics, science, or a related field * ISTQB Foundation level qualification or higher * Experience with Java creating and executing reusable automated test scripts (Maven framework preferred) * Experience with web service APIs (manual and automated) * Experience using Cucumber and writing test scripts in Gherkin language * Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools What You Bring as a Person * A proactive, positive, and professional approach to your work * A genuine investment in the quality of the product * Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail * Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with team members * A thorough, considered approach to solving problems * The ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organised in a fast-paced environment * A commitment to continuously improving standards and outcomes ## Description We are looking for a Test Analyst to join our Trust Payments Retail team â€" someone who brings both manual and automation experience, takes ownership of quality end-to-end and promotes quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle. You will work alongside the retail development and delivery teams to ensure the quality of our retail products, in line with our established test strategy and processes. The role covers both manual testing and automation work across Web, Mobile, and API â€" your skills in these areas will directly contribute to delivering a high-quality, reliable product. We are looking for someone assured in their abilities, comfortable contributing testing perspectives, raising concerns and championing quality.
