## About the Role

* Professional experience in software development engineering
 * Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
 * Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript (JS), React, NodeJS (ExpressJS), Python, SQL, and CSS
 * Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development
 * Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
 * Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) and version control tools like Git
 * Ability to optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
 * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Desirable:

 * Certifications in relevant technologies are a bonus
 * Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus

## Description

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications that drive success for our business and clients.
Although this role allows for primarily remote working, there is a requirement to attend the Redditch office at least once a month.

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions
 * Write, test, and deploy clean, efficient, and maintainable code across a range of applications
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and security
 * Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
 * Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new technologies to enhance development processes and product performance
 * Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate technical and business requirements into actionable solutions
