## Description

NCDHHS is seeking an experienced Technical Specialist-Expert / Mainframe Specialist with strong expertise in z/OS, CICS, DB2, Endevor, IMS, JCL, and Elixir. The resource will provide mainframe administration, configuration/release management, troubleshooting, SQL optimization, and technical support to application developers and DIT teams.
Key Responsibilities

 * Provide expert support for z/OS operating system and mainframe environments.
 * Manage configuration and release activities using Endevor.
 * Support DB2, SQL development, tools, and utilities.
 * Analyze complex SQL queries and recommend performance and cost improvements.
 * Provide CICS administration, troubleshooting, and debugging support.
 * Collaborate with application developers and DIT personnel on technical issues.
 * Support mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, IMS, JCL, and Elixir.
 * Provide middleware and MQ support as needed.
