## About the Role

* Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience), ideally with design experience in mobile or tracked equipment
 * Strong 3D CAD skills (CREO preferred) and experience with PDM systems
 * Solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
 * Experience in mobile recycling machinery (highly desirable)
 * Knowledge of Oracle TMS (advantageous)
 * Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, * Proactive, "can-do" attitude with strong team collaboration skills
 * Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
 * Strong decision-making skills when evaluating design alternatives
 * Ability to identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks
 * Innovative thinker with a passion for engineering excellence

## Description

* Design and develop new products and enhance existing machinery
 * Apply engineering best practices including QFD, FMEA, design for manufacture, prototyping, and testing
 * Ensure all designs meet safety, performance, and reliability standards
 * Manage engineering data in line with global standards and systems
 * Identify cost reduction opportunities through design improvements and supplier collaboration
 * Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
 * Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
