While this role does not involve software development, candidates should have enough familiarity with Linux and Python environments to execute commands, review logs, interpret errors, and support debugging efforts., * Associate degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. * 2+ years of experience supporting vehicle testing, electrical integration, prototype development, or laboratory environments. * Experience using vehicle communication and diagnostic tools such as Vector, CANalyzer, CANoe, Vehicle Spy, Intrepid, or equivalent. * Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and automotive communication networks. * Experience working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces. * Familiarity with Python for reading scripts, log files, and troubleshooting workflows. * Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and electrical diagrams. * Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting EV, autonomous, or connected vehicle development programs. * Experience building test benches, prototype systems, or electrical validation platforms. * Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or automotive communication protocols. * Experience using Jira and Confluence. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment. What Success Looks Like * Can independently build and support development test benches. * Understands how electrical hardware and software systems interact. * Effectively validates system functionality and identifies issues. * Uses Linux tools and logs to help diagnose integration problems. * Understands why systems are being built and tested, not just how to follow procedures. * Serves as a reliable technical resource between software and hardware engineering teams. ## Description The Electrical Systems Integration Technician will support the development and validation of advanced electric vehicle systems by building test environments, supporting software integration activities, and troubleshooting system issues.
