The role The Endpoint Specialist will join a team providing managed Windows & macOS devices as part of the University Managed Desktop to enable staff and students to work in a secure and productive manner in alignment with the University's digital aims. You'll get the chance to collaborate and interact with some of the finest minds in the world, sharing data, insight and expertise to make a meaningful difference to the University's success while using best practice tooling and methodologies. What you will do As a Endpoint Specialist you will: * Contribute to the University Managed Desktop service, packaging applications, deploying configurations and developing new features. * Implement and maintain automated services at scale. * Develop and document procedures for supporting teams. * Work with UMD customers within the University to ensure the University Managed Desktop aligns with a wide range of requirements. * Provide platform specific technical advice to support other UIS services. University Information Services will be moving to new accommodation on Brooklands Avenue in March 2027. The nature of this post requires attendance at the office of a minimum of one day a week, sometimes more depending on work requirements.
