Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # IT Support Engineer - Microsoft 365 & Cloud - **Company:** Forth Tech Ltd - **Location:** Dunfermline, UK (Remote available) - **Experience:** Experienced - **Salary:** £33,000.0 - £36,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Windows, VoIP, Cloud Computing, Desktop Computing, Domain Name System (DNS), Microsoft InTune, Laptops, Network Server - **Published:** September 23, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=27368187c91855b3 ## About the Role You'll need: * At least 2 years' experience in a similar IT support role * Good Microsoft 365 knowledge * A good understanding of networking * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Good communication skills * A reliable, calm and friendly approach * A genuine interest in IT and learning new technologies * Full driving licence and access to your own car Experience with Datto RMM, Autotask, IT Glue, DNS, broadband, Ubiquiti UniFi, Zyxel or relevant IT qualifications would be useful, but isn't essential., * How many years of experience do you have in an IT support, helpdesk or service desk role? * Do you have at least 2 years' experience in a similar IT support role? * * How would you rate your Microsoft 365 knowledge? * Are you comfortable speaking directly with clients by phone to troubleshoot issues and keep them updated? * Tell us about a technical issue you recently took ownership of and how you resolved it. * What interests you about working in IT support, and what would you like to learn next? * Are you able to work from our Dunfermline office as the main place of work? ## Description * Supporting Microsoft 365, desktops, laptops, servers and networks * Troubleshooting broadband, connectivity, VoIP and general IT issues * Supporting Microsoft Intune and other cloud platforms * Managing users, permissions, devices and passwords * Resolving Service Desk tickets from start to finish * Speaking directly with clients to understand and resolve issues * Working with third-party suppliers where needed * Keeping documentation and tickets accurate and up to date * Identifying opportunities to improve client systems * Working with colleagues on more complex issues and projects We encourage our engineers to get to know clients properly.
