An understanding of GIS and spatial data concepts; Ability to undertake spatial analysis and produce clear maps or visualisations; Ability to work with data, including organising, checking and interpreting datasets. Basic experience of at least one desktop GIS application, such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS; Ability to explain technical information clearly; Willingness and ability to learn new digital and geospatial tools. Technical Skills such as: ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise; QGIS; FME or ModelBuilder; Python, SQL or R; PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server; Power BI; Web mapping technologies such as HTML, CSS or JavaScript; Esri Experience Builder, Survey123 or Field Maps; Remote sensing and image analysis; Git or GitHub; Data science, machine learning or AI-assisted workflows; Experience handling large or complex datasets. We work across transport, water, energy, cities, planning and major infrastructure, applying spatial analysis, data engineering, Earth observation, automation and digital visualisation.
