## About the Role

What you bring:

 * Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering.
 * Technical Knowledge: Understanding of propulsion systems, CFR Emission Testing Requirements,
 * Software/Tools: Proficiency with data acquisition tools (Panel 4, ETAS or Hioki) and modeling platforms

What you may bring:

 * Professional Engineering License (PE)
 * Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical prints

## Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Powertrain Testing - Lab Operations function at the Client site.
Reporting to the Manager of Operations - Central Lab Ops, the person in this role will support the Powertrain Testing department's objective to ensure testing readiness.

What you'll be doing:

 * Test Execution: engine, powertrain, or vehicle chassis dynamometers and emission analyzers.
 * Compliance Validation: Verify test results against Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and certification procedures (such as FTP, HWFE, and US06).
 * Data Analysis: Analyze emission outputs, particulate matter (PM), and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
 * Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers
 * Support on site teams to ensure facilities are supporting current and new R&D activities.

 * Provide Engineering Support for Powertrain Testing Operations
