The role is suited to someone looking to broaden their security engineering experience while helping strengthen the security posture, resilience and operational control of our strategic infrastructure platform. You will support activity across vulnerability management, platform patching, SIEM monitoring, security events and new requirements from Security & Resilience, working closely with platform engineers, operational teams and partners to turn security priorities into practical delivery outcomes. Responsibilities What you'll be doing This role supports security engineering across the Hosting Landing Zone platform, helping ensure vulnerabilities, patching requirements and security controls are effectively assessed, prioritised and addressed. Key responsibilities include vulnerability management using tools such as Qualys and platform telemetry, coordinating infrastructure patching while maintaining service stability, and using Microsoft Sentinel and wider SIEM capabilities for security monitoring, alert review, event triage and operational response. The role also involves investigating and coordinating responses to security events, working closely with Cyber Security, Security & Risk and platform engineering teams to assess new requirements and deliver agreed actions.
