## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Financials Business Analyst with strong Oracle R12 experience and deep functional knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes.

This role is ideal for someone who can work directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders, understand complex financial processes, translate business requirements into Oracle solutions, and support the full lifecycle from requirements and process design through configuration, testing, implementation, compliance, and user support.

The primary focus is Oracle Financials, including GL, AP, AR, invoicing, collections, tax, Subledger Accounting, financial close, and audit controls.

KEY MUST-HAVES

 * 7+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role

 * Strong Oracle Financials experience, including:
 * General Ledger (GL)
 * Accounts Payable (AP)
 * Accounts Receivable (AR)

 * Strong experience analyzing Finance and Accounting business processes

 * Experience translating business requirements into Oracle functional solutions

 * Experience with Oracle configuration, functional design, fit-gap analysis, and process improvement

 * Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, tax processes, and compliance

 * Experience supporting financial close activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

 * Experience creating functional requirements, process documentation, test plans, and UAT scenarios

 * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

 * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

 * Ability to work primarily East Coast business hours

 * Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

ORACLE FINANCE FUNCTIONAL AREAS

ORDER MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

## Description

* Analyze current-state Finance and Accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement

 * Break down complex financial processes into clear subprocesses that can be understood by both business and technical teams

 * Lead requirements gathering sessions and workshops with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders

 * Document business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, and solution specifications

 * Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and standard Oracle EBS functionality

 * Identify when requirements can be met through standard Oracle functionality versus configuration or customization

 * Design and support Oracle solutions for financial reporting, invoicing, tax, accounting, and billing processes

 * Support Oracle application configuration and functional solution design

 * Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure Oracle configurations meet business, regulatory, and audit requirements

 * Drive business process redesign and recommend Oracle-based process improvements

 * Develop and execute functional test plans, test scenarios, and UAT activities

 * Validate financial data, transaction processing, accounting results, and process accuracy

 * Support internal audit and compliance activities through strong documentation and system controls

 * Maintain process and system documentation to support audit and regulatory requirements

 * Provide training and functional support to Finance users

 * Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and global stakeholders throughout the SDLC

 * Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments for financial system enhancements
