This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth. ## Description In order to support the Simulation Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Software Developer - Simulation Control Stations (d/m/f) Our department develops top-notch, high-fidelity engineering and training simulations for a variety of aircraft, supporting the entire development lifecycle. We are seeking a mid-to-senior level software developer in context of control stations used for real-time simulation monitoring, instruction, and debriefing. In this role, you will not only design and implement intuitive frontend interfaces for simulation control and monitoring but also develop the critical backend components and middleware that power them. You will work across the full software stack to ensure seamless data flow and integration, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a cohesive and robust simulator product., * Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements. * Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations. * Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using a custom GUI framework based on Qt/QML. * Define and maintain the overall technical architecture of the software, including the design and organization of the codebase, interfaces to other systems, the overall structure and organization of the software. * Design, develop, test and maintain software by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, and follow software development best practices. Analyze and debug software issues, and fix bugs. * Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodology. * Perform code reviews and ensure the code meets the defined coding standards. * Ensure the software system design and architecture is scalable, maintainable and can be integrated with other systems.
