Secondary Skills * Good understanding of Insurance domain. * Progress OpenEdge DBA experience, including backup and recovery, database health checks, capacity planning, index maintenance, and monitoring. * Experience with OpenEdge SQL-92, ODBC, JDBC, or other database connectivity technologies. * Familiarity with SOAP and REST API data structures, mappings, and integration flows. * Experience with data migration, bulk loading, reconciliation, and data-quality processes. * Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools. * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated database deployments. * Familiarity with database monitoring, logging, and observability tools & to Progress ABL, AppServer, and WebSpeed Experience and Qualifications * 6+ years of professional experience in Progress OpenEdge database development. * Experience working in Agile, cross-functional, and client-facing teams. * Ability to own database development tasks from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release validation. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred. ## Description We are seeking a Progress OpenEdge Database Developer with 6+ years of experience in Progress RDBMS development and database-focused application delivery.
