You will oversee quality control of data security technical controls. In addition to expertise and experience in data security, you will bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. You will champion agile methodologies, demonstrate strong business acumen, foster an inclusive leadership style, and maintain a continuous learning mindset in all aspects of your work. Key Tasks and Focus Areas * Conduct regular quality control assessments of data security controls across cloud and on-premise platforms. * Evaluate the effectiveness of technical security controls in protecting sensitive data. * Identify gaps or weaknesses in implemented security controls and recommend corrective actions. * Verify that security controls comply with business/corporate function requirements, organizational policies and regulatory requirements. * Work closely with platform owners and technical teams to ensure proper configuration and maintenance of data security controls. * Document findings from quality control reviews and track remediation efforts. * Develop and maintain checklists and procedures for quality control processes related to data security. * Monitor platform updates and changes to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness of security controls. * Support audits by providing evidence of quality control over security controls. * Provide feedback and training to technical teams on best practices for data security controls. * Stay informed about new threats and vulnerabilities affecting technical platforms and adjust quality control processes accordingly. * Report quality control outcomes, relevant metrics, and identified risks to management and stakeholders.
