active in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, required to start on Day 1. * Previous experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, or in a technical role supporting software development teams. * Strong knowledge of software engineering and development using Java/J2EE or similar object-oriented programming languages; experience with C++ is a plus. * Demonstrated experience with software practices such as coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines, and configuration management. * Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems, including deployment, integration, and troubleshooting. * Experience with tools such as Eclipse IDE, Maven, Git or GitLab, Python, and Ansible for build, version control, and configuration management. * Ability to write and maintain Bash scripts for automating build-and-test pipelines. * Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated test frameworks to support robust automated testing. * Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. * Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence to support Agile software development teams. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and maintain high team engagement. * Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for business needs., * Experience supporting software engineering for Department of Defense (DoD) programs and missile defense systems. * Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. * Experience leading Agile teams that support complex DoD software systems. * Experience breaking down Agile features into user
