## About the Role

* Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
 * Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Embedded-Software-/Firmwareentwicklung (C/C++ auf Mikrocontrollern z.B. ARM Cortex Prozessorfamilie, Nordic nRF, STM32, ESP32) und mit embedded Betriebssystemen z.B. FreeRTOS, Zephyr
 * Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Systemarchitekturen, Schnittstellenentwicklung, Debugging-Tools und Hardware-Debugging (z.B. JTAG, SWD), Erfahrung in der Entwicklung vernetzter Geräte oder IoT-Systeme, idealerweise auch unter Linux/Yocto, von Vorteil
 * Idealerweise Erfahrung mit CI/CD-Ansätzen in Embedded-Umgebungen, Python- Kenntnisse zum Erstellen von Testfällen und Scripts
 * Analytische, strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Innovationsfreude, sowie sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2)

## Description

* Entwicklung und Pflege von Embedded Software und Firmware für vernetzte Geräte und Systeme
 * Konzeption und Aufbau einer skalierbaren, plattformbasierten Architektur für Hardware, Firmware und Software inklusive Definition der Schnittstellen
 * Design und Implementierung von Kommunikationsschnittstellen (z. B. SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, Wifi, Bluetooth) sowie Integration in übergeordnete Systeme
 * Aufbau von Test- und Integrationsumgebungen (u.a. Hardware-in-the-Loop), Automatisierung der Testabläufe sowie Verantwortung für Weiterentwicklung, Tests sowie Fehleranalysen, auch unter Einsatz von KI
 * Enge Zusammenarbeit und technische Abstimmung im Team sowie mit internen Fachbereichen und externen Entwicklungspartnern
